Totally Baked, the movie

In Association with Luis Moro Production

Luis Moro was hired to turn around and recover the Executive producer’s, Craig Shoemakers, Investment in the original incomplete film two years after it was dormant.  Totally Baked is a comedy documentary on legalizing marijuana. Though Luis is not a smoker, he does believe in legalizing cannabis. The challenge of turning this failed asset into a profit-making venture was worth doing. Most of all the Shoemaker team, with the director, and writer, Lee Abbott were able to film and capture great content with a hilarious story.

The elements for a great film were there. The film has a great cast and was well ahead of its time in bringing to light, in a comedic way, the legalization of cannabis.

Many times a new fresh perspective is what’s needed to succeed. The Shoemaker team was smart enough to know it was time to bring in new leadership to complete the film.

Luis’s creative abilities, production sensibilities, and marketing savvy turned the project around, and finished producing the film to completion. Luis then created and managed a strategic marketing plan that gave the film national attention to legalizing the marijuana industry. The notoriety created film buyers ending with a profitable sale to Universal Studios Video division for a sizable profit.
